Ink blotter calendar 2018 bird11/30/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() I found the Calendar Pads at – these are the large self stick size pads and I couldn’t be happier with them – plus the folks there are amazing to deal with and ship super fast – perfect for impatient crafters like me! Here is a better look at the orange one – I used Calypso Coral as my card base… You don’t need any special tools to make these – just a paper trimmer with score blade – the card part is simply a standard portrait card and the folded part that holds it together is a piece of 4×4 cardstock. I originally made one each for my kids – one loves orange and the other blue, hence my color choices – I finished them and decided to make a whole bunch of them because they are standard card sized thus pop into a regular envelope and they are so cheerful I thought that they are perfect to send as happy mail! I have a Project Sheet for you detailing all measurements, the colors I used & full instructions on how to make these easel cards below – just look for the red words to find it. Here they are…so cheerful and fun to look at on a winter’s day! Speaking of rhinestones, here’s a TIP! I made these rhinestones black by colouring them with a black sharpie marker and then letting them dry for a minute before adding them to my project. It doesn’t show up very well in a photo, but in person the card has lots of shimmer from the ribbon, the rhinestones, and the Wink of Stella.
